Mr. Alex Delgado

Mr. Alex DelgadoMr. Alex Delgado earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Rowan University and his Master of Arts in Applied Sociology from Montclair State University.

Mr. Delgado brings 19 years of experience working with underrepresented students in higher education. He has served in various leadership roles throughout his career that focused on increasing the retention and graduation rates of first-generation, low-income students. As a first-generation college graduate and participant in an opportunity program, he has firsthand experience of the many challenges our students encounter. Presently, he serves as the Educational Opportunity Fund Director at Middlesex College, where he provides administrative oversight and leadership for the EOF Program. In addition, he serves as a Member at Large for the Educational Opportunity Fund Professional Association, an NJ Board Member for the Tri-State Consortium on Opportunity Program, and a member of Lambda Theta Phi, Latin Fraternity, Inc.
