Rowan University’s First-Generation Task Force invites you to participate in the 9th Annual First-Generation Symposium on February 12 (in person) and February 13, 2026 (virtual).
Theme: Trailblazers Today, Leaders Tomorrow: The First-Gen Future
The symposium brings together faculty, staff, students, and partners to explore strategies that support first-generation success through keynotes, breakout sessions, and a student-led panel. We encourage your department to attend and to share our registration and sponsorship options.
Registration
- Regular Registration: $70 (Jan. 24–Feb. 7)
- Rowan Employees: 50% off (code: 50AFGS2025)
- Students: Free (code: STFGS2025)
Department Sponsorship Packages
- Gold – $450: up to 15 staff
- Silver – $300: up to 10 staff
- Bronze – $150: up to 5 staff
Payment via PO or departmental sponsorship. Invoices due within 30 days. To pay by invoice, email firstgen@rowan.edu.
If inclement weather impacts Feb. 12, all sessions will be moved online. Updates will be shared via email and at go.rowan.edu/flyingfirst .
