Dominique B. Wheeler is a higher education leader, strategist, and advocate for educational opportunity dedicated to expanding access and fostering student success. As Director of Opportunity Program Operations for SUNY’s Office of Opportunity Programs, she provides strategic leadership for statewide initiatives that support student success, alumni engagement, operational excellence, and cross-sector partnerships that strengthen educational opportunity across New York State.
With more than 15 years of experience spanning higher education, operations management, workforce development, and organizational strategy, Dominique is recognized for leading high-impact initiatives, building collaborative partnerships, and driving innovative solutions that improve organizational effectiveness and student outcomes. She holds both a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Master of Arts in Organizational Communication from the University at Albany.
