The Tri-State Consortium Conference Committee is proud to announce the Sunday night speaker: Mount Holyoke’s 20th president, Danielle R. Holley.
President Holley is a noted legal scholar and thought leader in the field of higher education. Her expertise on civil rights, education, and the Supreme Court is routinely sought after by leading global media outlets including NBC, CNN, and The Boston Globe.
In her first year at Mount Holyoke, she convened students, faculty, staff, and alums to develop and launch an audacious strategic plan, MHC Forward. With priorities grounded in Academic Excellence, Student Experience, Operational Leadership, and Resource Stewardship, MHC Forward charts a bold vision for Mount Holyoke’s next decade.
An educator first, President Holley teaches a 300-level politics class on the Supreme Court, serves as a thesis advisor, and advises MHC’s brand new law review student org. She is a co-chair of the Board for the Lawyer’s Committee for Civil Rights Under Law and an Aspen Institute Liberty Fellow.
President Holley holds degrees from Yale and Harvard Law School. She served as dean of the Howard University School of Law prior to taking the helm at Mount Holyoke.
