The Tri-State Consortium of Opportunity Programs in Higher Education (NJ/NY/PA) 15th Biennial Conference was held in Long Island, New York from April 13 – 17, 2019 at the Long Island Marriott, 101 James Doolittle Boulevard, Uniondale, NY 11553. The theme was Creating New Futures by Educating and Liberating for Life in an Era of Change.

Speakers included Thomas G. Mortenson, Senior Scholar at the Pell Institute for the Study of Opportunity in Higher Education in Washington, D.C.; KD Wilson, student success and empowerment speaker; Simon Silva, a motivational speaker; Jack Mizrahi, CEO of Ingenti & Company; Cheryl Wills, a veteran anchor for Spectrum News NYl; Dr. Napoleon Wells, a clinical psychologist; and Ramona Smith, a member of Toastmasters International.
